South Africa

For once I was able to spend an extended period in South Africa over the holidays. And it was amazing.

We started off with a long stretch of family time in Knysna, our home town.

The weather was fantastic throughout and we spent loads of time at the beach.

And then we were off to spend some real time in Cape Town. This was the first time I'd been there for more than a handful of days in 14 years! I had very high expectations, and they were met.

Early in our stay we headed off for a long weekend at a festival called Wolfkop.

Days were spent relaxing on the river or on the shore.

And then afternoons and evenings turned into dancing.

The rest of our time in CT was very well spent hanging out with friends. Cape Town must be one of the best places on Earth at this time of year.
