This year our ski trip was in Courchevel. A bit of a pain to reach, but absolutely fantastic skiing across an enormous area.

We stayed in an area called Courchevel 1850 and it was absolutely charming.

And there was already plenty of snow up on the mountains.

As usual we absolutely loved our long lunches up on the slopes.

And also relaxing evenings hanging out in the chalet.

Several times we were treated to fireworks and other celebrations. We don't know why./figcaption>

Part way through the week the snow started coming DOWN. Here Jules and our friend Francois walking home after some après.

We LOVED skiing in the deep powder during the storm. It's a totally different experience and I loved learning how to handle it.

More incredible lunches on the slopes. This was during a blizzard.

After all the snow the town was absolutely gorgeous.

We headed back out onto the slopes after the storm. The conditions were gorgeous and so was hot chocolate!
