Rio and Isla Grande

Rio is a pretty city. We sdayed in Ipanema and had a grand exploring and on the beaches.

We had never heard of acai before and immediately fell in love with it.

Before long we popped over to the nearby Isla Grande, a beautiful island cheap enough to wait for our flight home.

We ended up spending about a week in the yellow house. It was a peaceful, fun place.

I absolutely loved running all over this island. I discovered this beach and brought Jules back there another day. Instead of hiking all the way back we caught a ride on one of those boats.
